We imagine Kaskade had all of 2020 planned out: what shows he was going to do, and a complete release schedule. People across Earth definitely had dreams and goals for 2020. Together as one human race, we had to scrape these plans and make new ones.
Part of Kaskade’s new plan is to speed up his release schedule. So even though it’s only been over two weeks since Kaskade released his four track Redux 004 EP, we aren’t surprised to hear more music.

I have Dreams is somewhere in the middle between mainstage Kaskade and Redux Kaskade. This isn’t a banger, like Ilan Bluestone and Andrew Bayer’s recent collab.
Far away from a banger, this new one by Kaskade is a groove that will give everyone on the dance floor confidence. No pressure to bring it to level 10- just move. Kaskade successfully shows his range as a producer again.
This time Kaskade selected Blue Noir’s intoxicating lyrics. We had not heard of this young singer before, but Kaskade is great at finding new talent. He doesn’t need to follow a promotion campaign or a record label to find a successful vocalist. He simply follows the sound of beautiful music.
In attempts to thoroughly review this song, we repeated I Have Dreams 7-8 times. What we found most surprising after subsequent listens is that we smiled brighter. Instead of I Have Dreams getting stale, it gets better.
There are a lot of fun details that you really start to appreciate. Sure this track isn’t very high energy, but it’s not simple either. A lot of experimentation and work went into getting the sound correct. Listen to how the instrumentation complements and enhances the project.
