Griz drops new EP ‘Bangers[2].zip’ just in time for PNW tour stops

Funky, saxophone wielding DJ and producer Griz has had a crazy year so far. Having already released his full-length album Ride Waves and the Bangers[1].zip EP, Griz also played a consistent string of past shows this year and is kicking off a live tour this upcoming weekend. Basically, there is no shortage of Griz’s intoxicatingly fun vibes to go around in 2019. And now, the almighty Griz has blessed us with Bangers[2].zip, the next installment in the Bangers series.

Released on Zeds Dead’s bass-heavy Deadbeats label, this newest EP stays true to Griz’s innovative production style with trippy bass drops and overall good vibes.

Bangers[2].zip begins with the much-anticipated track Griztronics, a collaboration between Griz and riddim star Subtronics. Griz has been teasing this track all over social media, and it’s already been showcased in several live sets to much fanfare. Coming in at around seven minutes, Bangers[2].zip is an excellent choice for quick car rides or jam sessions in the shower. Stream the entire EP below!

Don’t miss out on Griz’s upcoming tour, Ride Waves: Season Two, which starts at the end of this week! For us Pacific Northwest fans, the tour has a stop in Seattle at the Paramount Theater on October 17th, and then Vancouver B.C. and Eugene, Oregon over the next couple of days. See the full list of tour dates, including ticket links, on the official website!
