[divider]Radio[/divider]

Fast forward a 20 years and there isn’t really that much emotional context or association with any radio stations in the youth. Kevin points out that his daughter who 19 years old

“She doesn’t feel an attachment to any radio station because she doesn’t have to. She can find any music she wants, she just started on youtube, ya’know, where every song is there. You can just search and there it is.”

One thing that Kevin does point out is that there are studies that show 90% of people still get there music from terrestrial radio. So radio is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Kevin also points out that his daughter asked him if she could go to a Luke Bryan show last summer not realizing that it was country music, she just liked the music. That is a very important change to note in this music generation that we have. One doesn’t necessarily need to stay fixed in one genre.
