Figure Drops Spooky and Monstrous “Monsters Vol. #5” Album

figure monsters vol 5

Ahhhhh fall. Freaknight is almost upon us, the leaves are falling, the days are getting shorter, spookiness fills the air in anticipation of Halloween and Figure is back his with his fifth installment of Monsters. Year in and year out, no producer quite rules rules the month of October like Figure. In its fifth consecutive year, Figure’s Monsters has taken listeners on a wild adventure, featuring sound bytes from horror movies and brain splitting drumstep. With previous Monsters volumes giving us frightening classics such as the Werewolf (VIP Edit) and Frankenstein, it is easy to see why us here at Dance Music Northwest were so ecstatic about Figure’s latest release.

Figure (who’s real name is Josh Gard) begins his 14-city TerrorVision tour on Friday, October 17th that leaves bassheads up in the Pacific Northwest disappointed that the producer from Evansville, Indiana won’t be making a stop here. Figure more than makes up for lack of Northwest love with Monsters Volume 5, showcasing his signature sound that we’ve known to grow and love. Figure also experiments and figures out hip hop collaborations that add a surprising twist from the past installments.
