Well Beyond Platonic – Lets Be Friends (With Benefits)

lets be friends uk art logo

Holy BASS. If I have ever heard a widely eclectic, across-the-board electric, MAJOR bass-tastic sound, Lets Be Friends would take the cake. This UK-based duo formed in 2011 after an overwhelming passion for dance music took over – urging them to go beyond listening, and to start building. I say “building” because what they produce is massive music (I even heard they called in a crane to lay down the bass in their Felix Da Housecat Remix..). Though categorized as electro house, the Lets Be Friends guys include elements of nearly every heavily-bass’d genre, and they don’t stop there.. vocal samples come from all over, including one from stand-up comedian Brian Regan. They even receive praise from Steve Aoki, Krewella, and Fedde Le Grand. You can tell this duo is not only superbly talented, but humorous, creative, and downright our kind of friends.

We encourage you to accept their request; the benefits of this promising friendship I mentioned earlier? Insane, party-animal music, a new hope for innovative production, and a fresh-out-the-oven IOA (Invasion Of America) EP waiting just for you. Listen, enjoy, for goodness sakes make it FB Official, and let the invasion begin.
