Simon Cowell, the well-known reality TV guru, is in the process of creating a new DJ Competition TV show, “Ultimate DJ”. He recently approached the famous DJ Fatboy Slim (AKA Norman Cook) about being a DJ judge for the competition. Can we guess how Fatboy Slim responded? During the Electrobeach Festival in France, Fatboy Slim told reporters that he told Simon Cowell to “F*** Off” when he was approached to be a judge on the upcoming DJ competition show. Further more, he said that a number of other DJ’s had said the same thing, and rejected the offer. We want to know which of our favorite DJ’s were approached for the role, and who rejected the offer. Fatboy Slim went on to tell Digital Spy that it was a terrible idea.
That’s the good thing about dance music; it grows organically through drunk people late at night coming up with stupid ideas.It’s not something that can be scripted or transported into a TV studio.
