With 2017 finally here, we are hoping for nothing but good vibes this year. Eric Prydz definitely motioned us toward the right direction with his track Lillo. Given all the significant lives we have lost this year, Prydz took into his own hands to dedicate Lillo to one of his superfans (James Lillo), who recently lost his battle to cancer. Not only did he dedicate this track to James, he also held a benefit show in honor of him, with all profits ($60,000) going towards cancer research.
The track was released on December 28th.
The timing could not be any better for the release of Lillo. Pryda ended 2016 for us on a positive note, showing that music is stronger than words. However, we cannot forget the numerous of dance music artists that made a difference with music this year. We now can move into 2017 with a fresh start, with the power of music in mind.
