EDC 2016 Goes On Sale Early To Cure Post-Festival Season Blues

Festival season is coming to a close and just as the withdrawals start to kick in, an announcement from the rave heavens appears. EDC 2016 dates and ticket information have been announced. All of a sudden we’re stoked all over again, and it’s time to shuffle those finances to get early bird tickets upon their release. We started planning and saving for Shambhala Music Festival already, and before those passes go on sale it looks like Insomniac is going to take a large chunk of our festival fund.

Tickets for EDC Las Vegas are officially on sale now over here. This is the first year that events like EDC and Burning Man will be subject to the Las Vegas Live Entertainment Tax. That goes into effect on October 1, so purchasing before that date will allow you to save an extra 9% (around $32 total). So if you can manage it, getting a ticket soon will save you some serious cash. Also worth noting, in 2012 the first 30,000 tickets sold out in just one hour.

The event will take place Friday June 17 through sunrise Monday morning on June 20. It’s time to get your squad together, get hotels in order, and get ready to buy that ticket. Early Owl GA is sold out, but if you buy before October 1st, you can still get in on the Later Owl tier ($398 counting fees). All VIP tiers are currently available, with the price jumping from $700~ to $732 with the tax. Additionally, EDC is offering a generous layaway plan for anyone who can’t afford everything up front. Best of luck, headliners!
