Eat, Ski, Rave, Repeat: Skiitour Comes to Vancouver

The boys of Skiitour are fresh off of their Australian tour, and we can’t wait to see what kangaroo and Vegemite sounds they’ve incorporated into their newest music.

Best known for their funky beats, crazy outfitted fans, and reoccurring appearance on Shambhala’s Amphitheater Stage, Skiitour throws a party for the people every time. With sets often involving fake snow, ski boots on the dance floor, half the crowd rocking goggles, and an endless sea of retro ski attire, Skiitour has somehow seamlessly managed to marry the world of skiing/snowboarding and electronic dance music. The Whistler duo behind Skiitour, Tim Livingstone and Dave Rollie, keep the festival vibes rolling all year round with their high energy and booty dropping tracks.

If you happened to miss their unreal set at The Red Room Ultra Bar back in January, luckily the stars have aligned for you Vancouverites. The boys of Skiitour have managed to peal themselves off the slopes again and will be back in Vancouver spinning the decks at Fortune Sound Club this Friday, April 1st. It may be April Fools but this show is sure to be no joke.

It’s a rare sight to catch these Whistler boys in the city not only once but twice this year so be sure to grab your scarves and ear muffs and come sweat it out on the dance floor. Don’t sleep on securing yourself some tickets as this show is sure to sell out before Friday. In the meantime, slap on their 2015 Shambhala Amphitheater Stage set to get you into that dancing spirit.
