DVBBS Gets Guest Mix For Spinnin’ Sessions 36

Bursting onto the scene in 2013, the momentum is carrying into 2014 for Canadian electro-house duo DVBBS. Brothers Chris André and Alex André started their fast-paced climb last fall with their collaboration track with Boregous, TsunamiDVBBS has now started this year with a collaboration track with Italian duo VINAI, Raveology. The track was released via Spinnin’ Records January 13th and is already staking its claim in the Beatport Top 10 Tracks.

DVBBS is continuing their growth and featured as the guest mix in the 36th episode of Spinnin’ Sessions. During the show they were also confirmed as guests at Spinnin’ Sessions Miami on March 26th. It is the second annual such show by Spinnin’ Records in Miami. Last year’s lineup included Sander van Doorn, Carnage, Firebeatz, Martin Garrix, Showtek, and more.

The first half of the hour-long Spinnin’ Sessions mix, not mixed by DVBBS, begins with an ID track titled Don’t Go Lose It.  The track is from an artist on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom record label. The first half also includes new tracks such as Thunderbolt from Sidney Samson & Justin Prime. Dutch duo Firebeatz also checks into the mix with two new tracks, Helicopter with Martin Garrix and Rockin with DubVision. The full version of Rockin will be available January 24th.

When DVBBS takes control of the Spinnin’ Sessions mix, a legitimate feel of what experiencing the duo live is felt. Heavy doses of electro-house, the latest top tracks, and DVBBS hits are infused into a high-energy, sweat-inducing 30 minutes of music. The opening track of their guest mix is their latest track Raveology. It is shortly followed by two versions of the duo’s hit Tsunami, the original and the Frankie Sanchez Bootleg. DVBBS then takes a foray into the Beatport Top 10. The guest mix features We Like to Party from Showtek and the vocal mix of Revolution, a collaboration with R3hab, Nervo, and Ummet Ozcan. But, the best part of the mix is saved for last, as another ID is dropped before Jay Cosmic’s remix of Tsunami brings the mix home.
