Circus Records is one of our favorite bass music labels around, and having two of the co-founders performing at FreakNight this fall is a true Halloween treat. Friend and business partner to Friday headliner Flux Pavilion, Doctor P is a fan-favorite that puts together can’t-miss sets on a regular basis. Both of the Brits are regulars in the Northwest, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The only way it could be better, is if the duo took the stage at the same time.

Which is what Minnesota and G Jones will be doing when they perform B2B on day two of FreakNight 2016. The duo have done so several times in the past, with their latest major performance together coming at Bass Center Late Nights in Colorado this summer. Both artists epitomize why the term ‘bass music’ fits best, as they’ve pushed the boundaries of what bass music is capable of, and will do so again at FreakNight 2016.

RL Grime and Pegboard Nerds, like many bass-centric artists, always draw a crowd when they perform in the Northwest. Both acts join the already stacked lineup of fan-favorites, and showcase the depth of the high-quality bass artists at FreakNight 2016. They’ll undoubtedly be stacked against great artists at other stages, but we know where we’ll be for the during the sets from RL Grime and Pegboard Nerds.

Two more British acts make their way to the Tacoma Dome for FreakNight, and both have us excited for very different types of bass. London-based duo Stööki Sound will be providing the grimey, hip-hop blend of trap that we’ve come to know and love, while the revered Spor brings us the top-notch UK drum & bass that helped put bass music on the map all those years ago. The variety of bass music available at FreakNight is part of the draw, and Stööki Sound and Spor are perfect examples of why.

We saved the best for last, ‘best’ being the artist we’re most excited to see out of all of the filthy bass acts we’ll be enjoying this fall. Spag Heddy is another artist who is proof that bass music is in good hands for years to come. The dubstep dynamo has released tunes with Firepower Records (Datsik) and Rottun Recordings (Excision), while becoming the artist to watch over at the new Never Say Die: Black Label (SKisM). He works with the best in the business, and his tunes, mixes, and live-sets are all the reason you’ll need to understand why.

Northwest Favorites

The Pacific Northwest is represented well in the global bass community, and our local artists are a major reason why. Beauflexx, aka Beau Howard, is a Northwest-favorite through-and through, who’s dazzled us countless times at festivals, massives, and club shows throughout the region for years. We always show love to our locals, and it’s easy with guys like Beauflexx leading the way.

Fellow bass-enthusiast and Foundation Nightclub resident DJ ENDR will join Beauflexx and the rest of the great locals in celebrating the freakiest time of the year at the Tacoma Dome this fall. We’ve had ENDR’s recent B2B set alongside Northwest-favorite Treyis at Foundation on repeat recently, and while we look forward to FreakNight 2016, we don’t expect that to change.
