Dirtybird BBQ 2020 looks to heat up Seattle this summer

UPDATE, 1/31: In the wake of a lawsuit filed by Insomniac against USC Events, Dirtybird has delayed the sale date for tickets, announced to the Facebook event page:

Seattle flock, please hang tight as the on-sale for party passes to the Birthday BBQ in Seattle is delayed to a later date. This event is not canceled. If you bought Seattle tickets in the pre-sale, don’t worry, we’ll come back to you soon with an update.

For well over a decade, Dirtybird has been breaking out the grill and the bumping speakers for a hybrid BBQ and DJ battle with a basic recipe for success every time: tasty eats, amazing humans, and vibey beats. USC Events and Eventbrite will join together to present the 2020 Dirtybird BBQ Seattle on Saturday, August 22nd at Lake Union Park!

Stay tuned for the full lineup, and as always, the Claudefather (AKA Claude VonStroke) himself will be gracing Seattle with his presence.

“This year the annual BBQ is getting a bit of a twist, as we reach a major milestone, celebrating 15 years of Dirtybird! Join us as we come together for a special anniversary event honoring our 15th birthday at the Dirtybird BBQ 2020 Tour.

With everything we have planned, there’s going to be an abundance of events and surprises in store. From coast-to-coast, we’re taking over towns including the Bay Area, Atlanta, Denver, Brooklyn, and our City-Vote Winner: Seattle!

The Dirtybird BBQs are a time-honored tradition, and we love returning to our roots with the same friends and family vibes that started the label. Since this year represents such a monumental occasion for us, we’re going all out — so let’s get weird!” -Dirtybird Records

If you’ve never attended a Dirtybird BBQ, make this the year that you do. A throwback to the original Dirtybird parties, the full-day events have a reputation for delicious food (no doubt featuring an appearance by certified grillmaster Grillson), on point crowds, and some legit epic performances from your favorite Dirtybird artists.

Keep an eye on the Dirtybird BBQ website for information about all the artists to be announced and join the FB Event Page here! Peep the announcement for all other cities as well here:
