Sometimes when it comes to big events and festivals, the Pacific Northwest can feel a little left out at times, often because of our lack of massive outdoor venues. Thankfully, the popular online news site theCHIVE has our backs and has announced a party set to go off Saturday, July 12th at the Seattle Center. Seattle is only one of four cities who will have the opportunity to get the first taste of Chive Fest (the other cities being Chicago, Dallas, and Denver). Each lineup will be completely unique by featuring nearly all different acts.
The festival is described as “probably the Best Little Festival in the world.” Chive Fest will feature citizens from all over the world bringing a completely unique and diverse vibe into the festival grounds. From a Nostalgia Tent (life-sized game of Operation), Oversized Ostriches, fireworks, local food, blimps, cats, Chivettes, and enough glowing green the site of Chive Fest that day will be visible from space. On top of all those really cool specialties that will be there just for Chive Fest, Girl Talk, 2 Chainz, and St. Lucia headline a diverse lineup that we can’t wait to see.
Although there are literally hundreds of other festivals out there, we have a really good feeling that this stellar lineup combined with the theCHIVE’s goal of spreading the love nationwide will give us a unique experience. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next month!
