Cashmere Cat Releases Wedding Bells EP

Magnus August Høiberg, aka Cashmere Cat, released his new EP Wedding Bells today. The 27-year-old Norwegian DJ/ Producer has developed a musical style unlike any other, utilizing any and every sound he can conjure up. Everything from drums, piano, bendy synths, snaps, claps and in this EP, he brings us bells. It’s like some kind of glitch-indie-love trap, if you can even wrap your mind around that. It wasn’t but two years ago VIBE Magazine rated his No Lie edit #1 on their “25 Awesome Genre-Benders of 2012”.

You can sample and pre-order the four track EP on iTunes; it will be available to purchase tomorrow, February 11th. Wedding Bells can also be purchased via Amazon, Bleep, Boomkat, and HHV. Don’t be the only one to miss out on this feel-good down tempo album. Magnus has also gifted us with the full Wedding Bells track to tide us over until tomorrow. Listen, enjoy, and check out some of his other work, it really is unique and catchy.
