Carnage & Victor Niglio at Roseland PDX (Event Review)

[numblock num=”7″ style=”3″] Portland and the Chipotle gang was in full force this past Friday as both Carnage & Victor Niglio took the stage for one crazy unforgettable  Valentine’s night.[/numblock]

Love was in the air and energy was already high at the Roseland PDX as people started crowding into the venue geared up and ready to rage Chipotle style this past Friday night. Locals Hal V and Spacecase got the crowd started with a set of crazy dance beats and unique bass drops that was making us get our twerk on. Their stage presence alone was enough to set the tone for the evening and we knew instantly we were in for a treat.

As the night went on Victor Niglio took the stage by storm and cheers from the crowd went roaring throughout the Roseland. Being a younger producer, Victor tore it up and appealed to the crowd with not only his booty shaking bass, but familiar house remixes. Fists were definitely in the air pumping as his remix of Ode to Oi came blasting through the speakers and there was nothing but smiles all around.

One noticeable part about that point in time however is that the venue was certainly not sold out. The 21+ balcony area was only about half full which is surprising for any event there. The floor was fairly packed as usual but there was certainly some space to move about. Also, the visuals seemed to be lacking a bit. Understandably, all artists have their different set ups, but this evening was nothing out of ordinary.

Fast forward one hour and as we take a look around the venue is slammed. It was like the night totally made a 180 and the vibe was incredible. As soon as Carnage took the stage there was this unbelievable sensation of pure awesome and folks were rushing to the dance floor. Highlight of the night came when Carnage played a rendition of his hit song Incredible and not a person in site wasn’t dancing their ass off. Chipotle was in full force. His energy and love for the music was certainly visible to all that were in attendance and it was definitely one insane evening full of jumping, screaming, and booty shaking.

Lover of all things electronic. As a previous lead singer her music roots run deep and appreciation for all genres and artists runs high. She can be found dancing and singing along to the likes of Alesso, Hardwell, and Dash Berlin. Most awkward EDM moment? Watching Borgore sing karaoke.
