Finally, one less line-up announcement to anxiously await for! Capitol Hill Block Party has just announced their well-balanced array of artists set for the Capitol Hill stages this summer, shaping up for one fine and fun weekend in the July Seattle sunshine. The festival in the streets is also set to expand their all-ages Vera Stage, presented by Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card, after listening to attendees’ comments and concerns over the limitations of age-restricted venues. “The expanded Vera Stage is a direct result of feedback from Block Party attendees,” said Jason Lajeunesse, the festival’s owner and producer. “For the last couple years, about half of the national acts played the 21-and-over Neumos stage, which meant some people missed out on their favorite bands. This year, we’re making the incredible lineup of national acts available to everyone.” This main stage expansion will allow for all national acts to be seen, and most importantly heard.
