Browse new music with Zhu, Joyryde, Seven Lions and More

By Rukes

August 23 was one of the bigger days this summer for Dance Music releases. We have found so much new music! We narrowed our list down to our five recent favorites. If you dig deeper you will find new selections from Droeloe, Ookay, Peekaboo, and UZ.

NGHTMRE & Zhu Man’s First Inhibition

What an exciting track! Take a moment to dance it out with us. NGHTMRE and Zhu’s collaboration appears to be in the trap genre. Rap lyrics by Kidd Keem become an exciting element. It was smart to place the rap verse in the middle, acting as an interlude into the second drop.

Zhu’s collaborations have always been monumental. His work with Skrillex, Ekali, and Nero have become classic parts of his discography and add a spicy flavor to his live performances. Zhu’s collab with NGHTMRE proves his consistency. Who do you want Zhu to work with next?

Seven Lions – Break The Silence

Here comes Seven Lions with an emotional striking release. Potentially he found more inspiration when working with Above & Beyond on See The End. On the surface Break The Silence talks about how we have to take action in our lives. We must work and talk our differences out with our loved ones. For ourselves and our friends/family. The Lyrics from RBBTS, “It’s up to you to break the silence.”

You Might recognize RBBTS from Above & Beyond and Spencer Browns A Long Way From Home collaboration or Lane 8’s Visions. RBBTS has a distinct singing style that has become a powerful instrument. We love how Seven Lions produced the lyrics. Together Seven Lions and RBBTS have created an everlasting paradise. You know Seven Lions will be at the Gorge for the Alchemy Tour with NGHTMRE in October. Where you might hear either of these two tracks !

Joyryde – Madden

Joyryde goes deeper with this dark house banger. Definitely a contender for the highest energy track of the week. It’s refreshing to see Joyryde with some flavor in his discography! We have two separate drops that work together. Joyryde will keep the entire crowd moving when he drops this track at his future shows. Turn that bass up!

Above & Beyond – Anjunafamily

If you paid attention to the Group Therapy 300 celebrations last September you might know about Anjunabeat’s newest release. The powerful melody in Anjunafamily has been stuck in our heads ever since it was first played at ABGT 300.

In late May Anjunafamily was released as a mixed track on Anjunabeats Volume 14. And now it’s available in extended and edited versions. We feel lucky to have heard this track as the opener to Above & Beyond’s Electric Daisy Carnival 2019 performance.

Adventure Club – Said the Sky Already Know

We chose this track especially for the variety. The sound design and overall production is the main distinction. Seven Lions wants us want to smile and cry, while Adventure Club and Said the Sky ask us to smile and Jump. Already Know is a big-time celebratory track. A song you play after having the perfect day.

Said the Sky is relatively new, but he has continuously impressed us with his emotional work. Adventure club have been rocking the scene for 5 plus years and show no signs of stopping. We love seeing veterans and rookies working together. This collaboration will help expose Said the Sky to a wider audience. While Adventure Club learned new production techniques from Said the Sky.

Where these tracks worthy of a top 5? What did we miss? How about your favorite new track this week? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter!
