Blueprint Announces Stellar Lineup For Seasons Festival 2016

Coming hot off a weekend at Contact 2015, Blueprint looks to keep the hype going with the release of their lineup for Seasons 2016. Now before we go into detail about how incredibly excited we are, let us first give a little props to the Blueprint family. They have pulled off another amazing year of events in Vancouver. Coming back for it’s 5th year, Seasons will once again be an event you’ll want on your calendar.

[blockquote]Seasons Festival focuses on the emergence of Vancouver on the global stage as an innovative hub of music, new media art, and technology. Seeking to celebrate the communities of people around the arts and highlight the interconnectivity of these creative industries, over the course of 5 days Seasons presents the city of Vancouver with concerts, club shows, label showcases, demos, panels, lectures, and interactive visuals & art installations, culminating in a fully immersive, 2 day main event at Pacific Coliseum.[/blockquote]

Obviously we couldn’t be more thrilled to see Seattle’s own Odesza as a headliner for this one. But let’s not pass over a live Porter Robinson set as well as Knife Party returning to the PNW. In true Blueprint fashion, there will certainly be more names added to this already stellar lineup. Wristbands are on sale now, and include 5 days with 30+ events across the entire city. While the main 2 nights are the highlight events, we cannot forget the infamous afterparties with mystery guests.

Blueprint has really enjoyed putting together some pretty unique events during their massives. Just this past weekend for Contact’s afterparty mystery guests Jauz and Snails played a B2B set that brought the crowd into a frenzy. An even more unlikely pairing was from Seasons just this year, with mystery guests Tritonal and Carnage going B2B. Celebrating it’s 18th birthday just last month, BP has also hosted FVDED in the Park, Get Together, and countless other shows across the city.

We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this one as Blueprint always has a few surprises up their sleeve with special announcements to come. Be sure to stay tuned to our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the latest PNW news. And more importantly, hope everyone has a great New Years!
