Did you attend Beyond Wonderland online with us last weekend?

We don’t stop. Despite everything going on in the world, we still found a way to dance last weekend. As per usual, there were a wealth of shows Thursday through Sunday. Instead of going to a club, or festival, though, we got to see some of the biggest names in dance music throw down from the comfort of our living rooms. For free!

These shows were live streams from Twitch and Youtube. We made it out for Ghastly, Madeon, Gabriel & Dresden, and managed to attend one day of Beyond Wonderland. We missed out on Seven Lions and Saturday’s edition of Beyond Wonderland, but people across the globe danced hard for us.

Thursday

Gabriel & Dresden started the party on Thursday Night. The all-stars from Above & Beyond’s trance label performed 79 tracks. They nicknamed their set “Club Quarantine.” We only participated in their Thursday night set, but they kept the party going on Friday and Saturday night too.

Friday

Ghastly’s set was a mix of house and dubstep that we didn’t know we needed! The Ghost With The Most performed for nearly 3 hours. Here’s a clip of his anthem. Ghastly’s remix of OG Maco’s, Bitch You Guessed it, Bitch You Ghastly.

Ghastly timed his set to end perfectly with the beginning of Beyond Wonderland’s festivities. The festival was live streamed on Friday and Saturday night. Pasquale Rotella interviewed the performers while his co-workers sanitized the DJ equipment in between every set. Audien played his signature classics, and then Party Favor brought the trap that we needed.

How about what happened on Saturday night during Svdden Death’s set? Did you see the sound team going ham?

Sunday

We’ve been big fans of Madeon since  Paradiso mainstage 2013. So when he announced with two hours notice that he was doing a live stream… Well we stopped everything we were doing.

Madeon only planned 40 minutes because, “I don’t want to bore you with a three hour show.” The shortest show also saw one of the highest fan attendances. The peak during Madeon’s stream was nearly 8,000 people simultaneously. If you are familiar with Madeon he doesn’t like to use CDJ’s. He used his traditional launchpad setup with Ableton Live.

It was really exciting to see Ghastly, Gabriel & Dresden, Madeon, and Beyond Wonderland’s shows this past weekend. We love that artists are bringing their concerts to the internet. Many of them were able to use this as practice. Ghastly was on the mic interacting with his fans. Madeon loved preparing. Gabriel & Dresden were practicing performing, figured mine as well stream it.

Stay tuned for more streams to come every weekend. We can win.
Let us know who you want to see stream next week on Facebook or Twitter!
