HG Entertainment, a Boise-based events agency, announced via Facebook the Spokane and Tri-Cities stops of Antiserum’s quick two-leg Northwest tour have been cancelled. Playing in California all week, Antiserum has apparently fallen ill and will not be attending the shows. Instead, the shows at Swaxx on May 9th in Spokane and at Ray’s on May 10th in Tri-Cities will feature all local lineups.
We know we’re bummed about missing Antiserum, and more than a day’s notice would be nice, but things like this happen and getting out and supporting our incredible stable of Northwest talent is something we take pride in. So, join us is going out this weekend and catching the likes of Northwest-favorites Beauflexx, Sixfour, Squad, Beat Carnival, and the rest of the locals who step up to the plate.
The Eastern Washington stops had been of note to dance music fans on the ‘Dark Side of the Mountains’, who have seen the EDM cash-cow spread it’s tentacles all the way into cities like Spokane, Pullman, Richland, and beyond. The last 12 months has seen more than a few surprise names making their way to the Eastside, from last fall’s Safe In Sound tour to Infected Mushroom’s recent trip through the area. Hopefully Antiserum can get healthy soon, and join the growing list of top tier talents to grace the Columbia Basin with his presence. Until then, we’ll keep getting Wild in our headphones and patiently wait for the next opportunity.
Refunds for tickets purchased to either of the shows can be had by returning tickets to the place of purchase. You can also hold on to the ticket, as a make-up date is already in the works. If you purchased your ticket online, you’ve already received an e-mail letting you know that your refund is on its way.
We’ve reached out to HG Entertainment for comment on the cancellation, and for further details on the local shows, and will keep you updated with what we find out. Let us know if you’ll be attending the all-locals shows and which locals you’re most excited to check out! Comment below, on Facebook, or reply on Twitter!
