AJ Apuya – The Man Behind The Camera

For years USC has been putting on some of the most amazing electronic spectacles the northwest has ever seen. From the massive festivals like Paradiso, Freaknight, Resolution, or Lucky, to the weekly spectacle that is Foundation Nightclub. Many don’t want to ever leave those moments of pure joy listening to their favorite artists and have a hard time departing from that moment in time. Luckily there has been one major player immortalizing those special times in individuals lives. His name is A.J. Apuya. A.J. Has been the main photography arm of USC Events for a few years now. He has captured so many amazing memories for possibly millions of people.

Currently, A.J. is up for the DList Best Nightlife Photographer Award in Seattle. If there is anyone who deserves this award, it’s A.J. He is able to capture raw emotion in a single click, forever sanctifying the pleasure of so many in a split second. If his skill isn’t cause enough, consider his character. A.j. is as gracious to his colleagues and friends as he is to strangers. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, he is the embodiment of PLUR. For all these reasons, we are endorsing his nomination for DList’s Best Nightlife Photographer. So do a solid for A.J. and vote for him. We know we are.
