Above & Beyond’s yoga inspired album to premiere at the Gorge

By RUKES

Above & Beyond have been flirting with yoga sets and ambient music ever since their 2014 Burning Man performance. Three years later Above & Beyond brought the Yoga idea back to life during Group Therapy 250 at the Gorge. From 2017 on we have seen 10+ yoga sets across the world, and now a forthcoming ambient yoga album.

We find 36 total tracks coming out of Flow State, but some are spoken word and short edits. In total there are 17 unique tracks.

Get ready! In four short weeks Above & Beyond will return to the Gorge for an intimate Flow State Performance.

Yes, they will be executing two performances that weekend, first main stage on Saturday night, and then Flow State on Sunday morning. It will be a unique opportunity to hear the Tracks from Flow State mixed and spun live by Paavo from Above & Beyond.

To top it off Above & Beyond have partnered with an event company called Daybreaker to bring Flow state to multiple US Cities including Seattle. We want to be clear that the album will be played from recording, not in a live atmosphere.

Daybreaker promotes alcohol-free parties across America. These yoga events will start at 6 AM and last three full hours. The Seattle date is on July 17 on the Sound Hotel Rooftop. In total, the tour will visit ten cities.

We would love to hear how you feel about an ambient side project from Above & Beyond. How do you feel about attending a yoga set at the Gorge? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter!
