5 Artists Finally Making Their Northwest Return This Summer

[divider]THE ‘DISO 4 (Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Skrillex)[/divider]

When Paradiso finally comes in late-June at The Gorge Amphitheater, several major artists will be making either their long-awaited return to the Northwest, or their debut in our corner of the country. Dutch EDM Wunderkind Martin Garrix will be performing for the first time in the Northwest, while fellow youthful European superstar Alesso makes up for his missed set from the cancelled second day of FreakNight 2014.

As if that wasn’t enough, legendary duo Skrillex and Armin van Buuren both return to the open arms of thousands of Northwest dance music fans, who’ve been clamoring for performances since their last shows in 2012. Skrillex was in the process of becoming the face of dubstep at Bumbershoot 2012 while the Armada Music boss put on an all-time Northwest performance at FreakNight 2012. We’re not complaining about the plentiful amounts of incredible bass-heavy and trance acts we’ve been lucky enough to see over the years, but the return of Skrillex and Armin van Buuren to the Northwest, at the same festival (AT THE FUCKING GORGE), isn’t something we’re going to miss.

Tickets for Paradiso 2015 are already more than 90% of the way to being sold out, so you’ll want to secure your passes to the Northwest’s premier summer festival ASAP. You can purchase tickets here, find out all of the frequently asked questions at Paradiso here, and figure what to (not) pack for Paradiso here.

When a legend comes to the Northwest, they’re greeted with sold out shows and incredible crowds, and that’s to be expected when Spor makes his Seattle debut at Foundation Nightclub this summer. Pleasing many while performing as Feed Me at Foundation in early-April, Jon Gooch is surprising many more by returning so quickly, and by bringing Spor with him. After primarily working as Feed Me throughout the last decade, Gooch released his first original work as the formerly shelved moniker since 2012, with February’s Caligo

He’s since announced an accompanying six-show North American tour, stopping in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., New York City, and Toronto, as well as Seattle throughout mid-July. We couldn’t be more pumped for Spor’s Seattle debut, and if you want to join us at Foundation at the show, you’ll need to get your tickets here, and get them soon.
