Trance legends Gabriel & Dresden are no strangers to the Northwest. Originally hailing from San Francisco, the talented producers now live in separate cities, following a brief break from their side-by-side project from 2008-2011. Now that they’ve been reunited for three or so years, it’s clear that their time apart only served to make them stronger together, as they make their triumphant PNW return following their appearance at Freaknight 2013 (followed then by their memorable set at Foundation Nightclub that same weekend).
Now the duo is back and ready to show the Gorge why they’re one of Seattle’s favorite acts.
We have heard so many great things about Paradiso and the venue in which it takes place. We both love being out in nature, so to play music in this surrounding is very exciting to us. We also love playing Seattle, we have been coming here for almost 10 years and we have watched the city grow from such a very small and dedicated few into a massive market for dance music.
But there’s plenty more to learn about Gabriel & Dresden before they take the stage together at 11pm this Saturday at the Digital Oasis. For an act that’s been in the dance music scene since its infancy, you can bet there are stories to tell, insights to offer, and tons of tidbits that their fans would love to get a taste of.
